Description:
I think it would be very beneficial if we could help unemployed unhoused people learn how to knit or crochet and do fundraisers with them. That way, we’ll be able to get a lot more donations than usual and it’ll help give a sense of purpose for the unhoused.

It'll be great for community building too! And if there are some unhoused people who already know how to knit or crochet, they can teach each other
I think this will work very well
It may also be helpful in terms of mental health. I've heard knitting helps reduce anxiety.

Description:
I feel like exercising is the best way to prevent illness and gain more energy. I don’t think I’ve seen many programs that support unhoused people to exercise routinely. Although it might look like a luxury, I think it might actually be one of the things that they need the most.

Snacks & Toys for Unhoused Children
Description:
Fresh groceries and hot food are very important, but I feel like toys and snacks are some things that unhoused children long for that are often not given to them. It’d be awesome if snack stores and toy stores donate some of their products to homeless shelters like how some restaurants donate food.

I know not many unhoused children have had chances to visit many places. This is very nice!

There are probably some programs like this that libraries are already hosting but I do agree with you that programs that specifically target increased library would be good.
I think this will also be kind of a safe, relaxing time for unhoused children
Encouraging them to spend more time at the library will have really positive impact on them

Description:
I. have been unhoused since pandemic started. Most of us do not have the resources to take a shower even once a while. Some live in areas with access to public restrooms but many do not. Therefore, I think it will be very helpful to the unhoused community if there can be a shower truck or trailer for the unhoused people available.

Description:
I am a retired hairdresser, and I would love to give haircuts to unhoused people for free. I don't currently have a space or equipment to do that, so I think it would be great if someone who owns a hair salon could let me use their place for a few hours a week when it is closed.
